{ Yeah, yeah, no fancy graphics. I'm lazy okay. }
So, you may have noticed that there are two new housing options -- buying and selling a house. It's pretty cool, actually, and anyone is allowed to sign up for one or the other. That being said, there are some rules and such. Obviously, the same rules apply when it comes to lowerclassmen -- Unless you have express permission from an admin, you live in a dorm. However, the upperclassmen will also need permission. This is due to the fact that not every person can afford to rent or buy a house, especially not when they're still in college. Not saying it couldn't happen, seeing as quite a few of our uppers tend to be wealthy for some reason (O.o?) but we will be keeping an eye on how many are buying and renting houses.
Speaking of, how does this work you may ask. Well, buying and renting will be basically the same, with some key differences. One of these differences is the customization of the property. When your character rents a house, you do not have the option of creating a new house for your character to rent. What's available is available, and you must choose from the options given. The same rule doesn't apply for buying, however. You are given the option to either buy one of the houses currently on the market or supply one of your own. This can either mean you create a total new house (which will be explained a little in the application template) or if you're lazy like Luna is, just go to trulia.com/ and look there. A word for the wise, however, avoid the ones that say "apt/condo/twnhome" or whatever -- if you want to live in an apartment, just rent one of the ones available in the other board.
Anyways, that seems to be it. May add more later but I don't feel like thinking. Have fun~
