Standing out back of the hall in which the party was being thrown was a man dressed, suitably, as the Big Bad Wolf...or at least his version. Dexter wasn’t really the “dress-up” kind of person so when he found a snapback with a wolf face on it he decided that was what he was going to be for this party.
Dex was a graduate from King Protea with a bachelors degree in chemistry. He’d tried meth while he was a sophomore and quickly learned about it’s popularity on the campus and also how easy it was to make. He’d started out small time, but soon enough there were people all over the city wanting his product. After graduation, he knew that he was making way more money in the drug business than he would if he tried to get a career in his field. So he stuck with it.
Already having a fairly large customer base on campus and finding the college scene to be where he made most of his money, he still attended all the major parties to sell; they were always his best nights. Of course, he still enjoyed partying and the neverending supply of college chicks who never got less hot (and seemingly never became less attracted to him) was a bonus.
He arrived at his post early, most people wanted their drugs before the party so they could ride the high all night and it’s when he made most of his money. He’d even made a couple new customers, which he was pleased with. It was rare that meth users would go to someone else to buy after trying his.
When it seemed as though things were dying down outside and it started getting louder inside, Dex made his entrance looking around with a small smile. Loud music, scantily clad women, solo cups strewn everywhere already, and he could even smell the heavenly stench of marijuana flooding the room and seeping into the walls and fabrics of the partiers costumes. Ah...it took him right back to his own college days and he fit in easily, shimmying into the crowd. He was fairly popular still on campus, so there were plenty of greetings and highfives all around, he even got handed a drink without needing to make his way to the drink table. He sniffed it cautiously and then shrugged, thinking the guy who gave it to him was trustworthy enough, one of his regulars who didn’t give him any trouble.
He moved to the spot of the hall that had been his since he first started selling, making sure no one else was taking over. Of course Dex would venture out and enjoy himself some more, but he’d always come back to his spot for anyone who was interested in buying or needed a bit of a pick-me-up.
