Fall time had to of been her favorite time of the year. Sweaters, sweat shirts, and sweat pants were soon to become a big part of her everyday wear once again. Even though those don't seem like the typical fashion major's clothing, it was her's. Katherine wasn't one to wear all the latest trends, nor the one to flash around the designer clothing that was offered to her. Yes, she was the complete opposite of most fashion designers. Her head wasn't in the clouds, she didn't see herself as "top dog", and she loved what she did and what she wore. Nothing was going to stop her from being her own individual and wear what she deemed comfortable, affordable, and stylish. When there was a special event or extravaganza, she would dress up in a higher state of fashion, still within her sense of comfortable.
With being so tiny, it was to her advantage that she could wear almost anything that was made in smaller sizes. All different brands, most stores now open, and some that were a tad bit older had something that would fit her, regardless of that time of the year. Her mission today was not merely about over clothing, no. Katherine was on a mission to go find herself some new undergarments because she was tired of the boring solid colored one's anyone could get at bra stores; she wanted flashy and sexy instead. Knowing of the perfect place, she headed straight for the mall. It wasn't a long journey and she could use some shopping time, since she hadn't been in quite some time. Even though she'd prefer company more often than not, she went alone this time hoping that she could gain company once there.
After taking the short drive from the apartments, she found herself in the parking lot of the mall. She smiled softly as she entered the doors to the food court and was greated by the chatter of people talking amongst their own groups. Seeing as how it was still early, she decided it wouldn't hurt her to get some food, especially since she hadn't really eaten that morning anyway. The small Chinese food station had caught her attention, so she waited patiently before she got to order Honey Mustard Chicken with Chow Mein and Cream Cheese Wonton Wrappers. Kathy took it upon herself to go sit at a table a little further away from people only to take the time to eat about half of the food she had just gotten. Of course she was going to take it with her, it would more than likely be her dinner later that night.
Once she had gathered up her things from lunch, she got a bag to set her food container in and went towards the different shops. Taking her time here was her biggest problem at the time, she wanted to get everything done rather quickly, but she also wanted to window shop some. Here she was, being her typical shy little girl she had always been. People were a challenge, unless she knew them. It was never like her to just open up to someone, other than she had to Jesse back in high school, which was still a shock to her to this day. If someone knew her, they would know that she could talk up a storm, dance like no one was watching, all of the typical goofy things friends did with each other. If they didn't, they'd see the shy, sweet, innocent side of her that was somewhat true. Innocence wasn't exactly her's anymore because of previous events, but she could still pull it off, and that's what she wanted to seem to other people around her at the current time. After passing a couple stores, she stopped in front of one that she loved, and just looked into the window, peering at what all they had.
