To be truthful she would normally be wondering around town on her own, exploring and seeing what interesting things she could find. Of course it wasn’t Mac’s first choice but she had been having trouble making friends in the big city. After living in a small town where everyone knew each other for most of her life, moving out here was a big step. It was an issue she figured would arise but at the time it hadn’t seem like a big deal. After all she was too focused on keeping her GPA up that having a social life passed right over her head and now she was in final year with almost no real friends in sight. The key word being almost of course, she had managed to pick up a couple here and there, one of which she was meeting today for a bit of a shopping spree. An event she had been looking forward to for quite awhile. Serena was one of the first girls which Mackenzie started talking to, over the years they had had a few classes together since they were both taking forensics but it never struck Mac to strike up a conversation. Until she missed a couple days from being down with the flu and Serena was the only one in the class who took proper notes. It seemed like they hit it off right away, if Mac was being honest they were quite alike, a factor which worked in their favour in this case. Though what Mac was most excited about was that Serena was going to help her pick out some clothes which were more suited for her age. Mac was well aware that she didn’t own a lot of sexy clothing or anything that showed a lot of skin and now that she was on her own she wanted to change that. Back home the girls dressed more conservatively since all of the older people in the town knew that. Half the time the layers of clothing came off at night when the field parties took place but it was still nothing compared to what Mac saw girls wearing in this town. It was like half the time they were just too lazy to put on proper clothing and decided to wear their pajamas out. Sighing, Mac shook her head. It was difficult to get used to, everything was so different in a big city. But that was what she was hoping Serena could help her with. Taking a quick glance around, her eyes light up when they landed on her friend. Heading over to meet her half way, Mac smiled. ”Hey! How are you doing?” Reaching her, she pulled her in for a small hug. ”I got here a little earlier so I did some pre-emptive damage, I hope you don’t mind.” Holding up the bag, Mac laughed while a guilty look took over her features.
